Planning Department

The Planning Department is responsible for current and future planning, which includes:

  • Review and amendment to the Official Community Plan and Land-Use Bylaw
  • Application of various development control functions
  • Processing applications for subdivision, development permit and development variance permit
  • Responding to inquiries from the public, developers, contractors, and other stakeholders in planning processes.
  • Working with Council and committees with regard to specific projects
